Venogram (vein mapping)

The process of injecting dye into your arm to observe blood flow for xrays.  This procedure is to help determine where your vascular access will be placed

Catheter Removal

Catheters are removed when a permanent dialysis access is in place, dialysis is no longer needed or an infection has taken place

Catheter Insertion

Catheters are inserted if your permanent dialysis access isn't ready or unusable,

Catheter Exchange

Catheters are inserted if your permanent dialysis access isn't ready or unusable,

Angioplasty

If there are blockages or narrowing in a fistula or graft then blood flow may be restored by using a balloon to enlarge the narrowing.

Thrombectomy

Similar to an angioplasty, if there are blockages or narrowing in a fistula or graft then blood flow may be restored by using a device or injecting medicine, instead of using a balloon, to enlarge the narrowing.

Stent/Coil Placements

A stent/coil is a small wire mesh tube that is placed in your artery to help keep the artery walls from closing.  This helps with easier blood flow for dialysis procedures.

Fistulogram/Graftogram

A fistulogram is an X-ray procedure where dye is injected into your veins to detect if there is a narrowing or blockage of your fistula, preventing proper blood flow for dialysis.
